Finished making 13 banjo rims. I used a ShopBot (CNC router) to cut inside diameter first, then the outside diameter (wall). I used the machine at The SawDust Shop in Santa Clara, CA.

WELCOME TO Rockabilly Willy website. This is a luthiery project and business located in Santa Clara, CA.

Rockabilly Willy is a trade name for a luthiery operation in Northern California. It has  four large scopes:
 1) manufacture a pilot line of nine banjos, that's seven plectrums and two five-strings...for original design based on a Vega Artist platform. 2) manufacture two pilot line electric guitars based on a Gretsch Duo-Jet platform but of original design. 3) manufacture western tooled motif leather guitar straps for sale or exhibit. 4) become a familiar vintage and collectable guitar and banjo DEALER in Northern California by exhibiting at the Texas Amigos/California World Guitar Shows in Marin and Santa Monica, CA. This is a registered reseller's permitted business in California.
